Welcome to Active Wellbeing 2019

8th May 2019

We are back, bigger and better than before.

From 1-5 July, in partnership with the Civil Service Employee Policy (CSEP), CSSC Sports & Leisure will be celebrating the 2nd annual Active Wellbeing Week (AWW).  Specifically designed to encourage civil servants up and down the country to lead a healthier, more active lifestyle, we want to see everyone get involved this summer.

Building from last years’ fantastic success, we’re launching a series of initiatives to whet your appetite;

Pledges
Back by popular demand, we have the nationwide ‘make a pledge’ campaign, encouraging individuals to make a personal pledge on how they intend to be more active. To help keep that momentum going, we’ve got some awesome daily prizes to give away and one truly amazing grand prize for one lucky pledger.

Free Workplace Packs
We’re also sending out information packs in the weeks leading up to AWW, which contain useful decorations and ideas to kick-start the festivities and activate the work place. Pre-order now to make sure your office doesn’t miss out!

Activate your Office
We’re helping workplaces to organise their own activities, such as yoga, tai-chi and badminton. We’ll offer guidance and expertise on setting up your own office activity and we’ll even provide funding to help make it happen. Use our online support tools if you need some pointers or printable resources on how to get your office active!

Inspiration
Following the kick start last year, we have 6 success stories which encapsulate what the week is all about! They have made positive changes to their wellbeing with the help of Active Wellbeing Week and now they feel great! Take a look at how they’ve done it and get the inspiration you need to make that first step to a better you.

Social Media
We’d love to see your photos on facebook or twitter with the hashtags #ActiveWellbeingWeek and #ActiveForLife. You could even win your office some practically perfect pamper prizes.

Mention AWW to your colleagues, make a pledge, keep the momentum going with the support tools available and most importantly, have fun along the way.
