What is Active Wellbeing 2022

Active Wellbeing 2022 is our week-long, annual initiative between CSSC and Civil Service HR. It provides support and opportunities to look after your health and wellbeing throughout an adventurous and inclusive week of fun. Active Wellbeing 2022 is supported by the whole of the Civil Service and the leadership team. Director General of Customer Services Group, Myrtle Lloyd encourages everyone to sign up to Active Wellbeing 2022 and get involved, saying:

“I am proud to sponsor the Civil Service Active Wellbeing Campaign for 2022, and excited to get involved in the activities. Physical activity can have a huge impact on our health and wellbeing – by boosting our mood, self-esteem, energy levels, and improving how we sleep. Active Wellbeing 2022 offers something for everyone – so take the time to work out what’s right for you, your mind or your body. It’s up to you how you get involved – my Active Wellbeing pledge this year is to get out on my bicycle at least once a week and explore the countryside around me”.

CEO of CSSC, Simon Lee has been a keen advocate of Active Wellbeing since the very beginning.

” I am delighted that CSSC is working in partnership with the Civil Service to deliver a fourth Active Wellbeing. Supporting civil servants to nurture their mental and physical wellbeing has never been more important during these challenging times and I urge everyone to get behind this fantastic initiative”.
